Mission Statement

Southwest Community Baptist Church exists solely to Glorify God by compelling men to receive Jesus Christ as their Savior from sin. The conversion of people to Christianity through our ministry is followed by a well defined process of discipleship training - accomplished through the careful teaching of all Scripture. Our conviction to faithfully expound the whole counsel of God's Word is meant to ground Christians in the one true faith thus enabling them to discern false teachings. This approach has the promise of the Bible that it will produce stable believers resulting in genuine life - long happiness. 
 
Therefore as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, having been firmly rooted and now being built up in him and established in your faith, just as you were instructed, and overflowing with gratitude. See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception, according to the traditions of men, according to the elementary principles of the world, rather than according to Christ. - Colossians 2:6-8
